Stored XSS via unsanitized editor content
Published Aug 17, 2026 · Updated Aug 17, 2026
Stored XSS in Squirro Cognitive Search before 3.14.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. Email Notification templates, Evaluation Sets, and the HTML Editor store script-bearing input without sanitizing script tags, then render it to viewers. An attacker must sign in, save crafted markup through an affected function, and induce another user to view it; the script runs with that user's web-session privileges.
