CVE-2026-50752Network attack vector

Traffic interception and modification via IKEv1 certificate bypass

Published Jun 8, 2026 · Updated Jun 8, 2026

Improper certificate validation in Check Point Quantum and Spark gateways allows man-in-the-middle attackers to intercept or modify VPN traffic. The vendor identifies the locus only as deprecated IKEv1 certificate-validation logic and has not disclosed the erroneous code path or validation check. Exposure requires an IKEv1 site-to-site VPN using certificate authentication; pre-shared keys, Dynamic IP gateways, and Large Scale VPN communities are unaffected.
