Contributor-level credential disclosure via localized internalOptions
Published May 20, 2026 · Updated May 20, 2026
Information exposure in Awesome Motive All in One SEO 4.9.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read API/OAuth tokens. The plugin passes unmasked internalOptions values to wp_localize_script(), embedding configured API/OAuth tokens and license data in post editor page source. Contributor-level access is sufficient; inspecting the rendered source discloses credentials but does not directly modify site data or interrupt service.
