Host privilege escalation via authenticated SQL injection
Published Jul 2, 2026 · Updated Jul 2, 2026
SQL injection in Ubiquiti Inc. UniFi Talk Application before 5.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges on the host device. Ubiquiti has not published the affected queries, parameters, or database operation that fails to neutralize attacker-controlled SQL. Low-privileged access from a network that can reach the Talk application is required, and successful exploitation grants host-level privilege escalation.
