CVE-2026-50735Network attack vector

Memory disclosure or worker crash via unchecked lengths

Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026

Out-of-bounds reads in EnterpriseDB pglogical 2.x before 2.4.8 allow remote attackers to disclose memory or crash an apply worker. The apply worker copies fields from incoming replication messages without first confirming that their declared lengths fit the allocated buffer. Exploitation requires a subscription directed to an attacker-controlled publisher, which normally requires superuser privileges but can reach delegated subscription creators.
