Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Windows DHCP Server allows remote authenticated users to elevate privileges over an adjacent network. Microsoft identifies the DHCP component and heap overwrite class but has not published the affected parser, field, or incorrect memory operation. Exploitation requires low privileges and adjacent-network access; successful exploitation compromises confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
