Authenticated compromise via undisclosed hard-coded credentials
Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
Hard-coded credentials in IBM Controller 11.0.1, 11.1.0, 11.1.1, and 11.1.2 allow remote authenticated users to compromise the service. IBM has not identified the credential, its storage locus, or whether the affected operation is inbound authentication, outbound communication, or internal encryption. Network access and low-privileged authentication are required; successful exploitation can expose or alter data and interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=11.0.1 <=26.0.0.5
- Affected versionversion=11.1.0
