CVE-2026-50639Network attack vector

Metric injection via unsanitized SignalFx labels

Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026

Metric injection in Metrics::Any::Adapter::SignalFx before 0.04 allows attackers to inject additional StatsD metrics via crafted labels. The _labels function places label names and values into the line-based SignalFx packet without replacing newlines or StatsD control delimiters, allowing one label to terminate the current metric and append another. Exploitation requires an application to pass attacker-controlled label content to the adapter, and the consequence is unauthorized metric creation or alteration rather than code execution.
