CVE-2026-50633Network attack vector

Code execution via unvalidated JNDI target lookup

Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026

JNDI injection in Apache CXF before 3.6.12, 4.0.0 through 4.1.6, and 4.2.0 through 4.2.1 allows attackers to execute code. DispatchMDBMessageListenerImpl passes a target name from ra.xml or runtime activation parameters directly to a JNDI lookup without validation. Exploitation requires control of those deployment or activation settings and runs code in the application-server context.
