CVE-2026-50630Network attack vector

HTTP response splitting via unsanitized realm value

Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026

CRLF injection in Apache CXF OAuth2 before 3.6.12, 4.0.0 through 4.1.6, and 4.2.0 through 4.2.1 allows remote attackers to split HTTP responses. AuthorizationUtils concatenates the realm value into the WWW-Authenticate response header without rejecting or encoding CR and LF characters. Exploitation requires attacker control of the realm value and permits arbitrary response-header injection or a split response.
