Authentication bypass via unthrown authorization exception

Authentication bypass in Apache CXF before 3.6.12, 4.0.0 through 4.1.6, and 4.2.0 through 4.2.1 allows remote attackers to access token introspection. TokenIntrospectionService creates authorization exceptions when transport security or an authenticated principal is absent but fails to throw them, so request processing continues. Exposure requires a deployed introspection endpoint whose service authentication was omitted; the flaw defeats the remaining code-level safeguard but does not provide code execution.
