Authenticated secret disclosure via auto-mounted builder token
Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026
Improper privilege management in Fission before 1.24.0 allows remote authenticated users to read builder-namespace Secrets and ConfigMaps. createBuilderDeployment assigns the fission-builder service account without disabling token automount, exposing its token to the user-controlled builder container. Create or update access to an Environment CRD in a watched namespace is required, and the inherited identity can read every Secret and ConfigMap in the builder namespace.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
