Administrator takeover via cross-instance JWT reuse
Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026
Improper authentication in xerrors Yuxi before 0.6.2 allows remote attackers to gain administrator access with a reusable JWT. The verifier accepted bearer tokens without binding their issuer or audience to the running instance, while a historical fallback signing key enabled cross-instance reuse. Reachability requires an administrator token accepted by the target, granting management-API access and backend takeover.
