Authenticated code execution via unchecked GO parameter
Published Mar 29, 2026 · Updated Mar 29, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda FH1201 1.2.0.14(408) allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted GO parameter. The formWrlExtraSet handler passes the GO value through ask_to_reboot without a length check, where sprintf overwrites the fixed-size s_1 stack buffer. Low-privileged access to the web management interface is required; exploitation can execute code in httpd or crash the router.
