Remote code execution via GDI+ heap overflow
Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026
Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Windows GDI+ allows remote attackers to execute code through network-delivered content. Microsoft identifies the locus as GDI+ but has not published the affected parser, malformed field, or erroneous memory operation. Exploitation requires user interaction, and successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code in the context of the application processing the content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
