Race condition in Windows LUAFV allows local users to elevate privileges on affected Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server builds. Concurrent access to a shared LUAFV resource is improperly synchronized, creating a use-after-free; Microsoft has not disclosed the affected function or object sequence. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and winning a high-complexity race, after which attacker-controlled code can run with elevated privileges.
