CVE-2026-5036Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unchecked sprintf

Published Mar 29, 2026 · Updated Mar 29, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda 4G06 04.06.01.29 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via its web endpoint. In fromDhcpListClient, sprintf copies the user-controlled page parameter into a fixed 256-byte stack buffer without a length check. The CNA assessment requires low privileges, while the published proof of concept reports no authentication; exploitation can crash the web service or redirect execution.
