Local privilege escalation via graphics-kernel use-after-free
Published Jul 14, 2026 · Updated Jul 14, 2026
Use after free in the DirectX Graphics Kernel in affected Microsoft Windows releases allows local users to elevate privileges. Microsoft has not published the freed object, stale reference, or graphics-kernel operation that dereferences it. Low-privileged local access is required, no user interaction is needed, and successful exploitation grants elevated Windows privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
