Unauthenticated token disclosure via output-buffer bypass
Published Apr 2, 2026 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Information exposure in BoldGrid W3 Total Cache 2.9.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to obtain a dynamic-fragment security token. When a User-Agent contains "W3 Total Cache", Generic_Plugin.php skips the output-buffering pipeline and returns raw mfunc or mclude comments containing W3TC_DYNAMIC_SECURITY. Fragment caching and developer-placed dynamic tags must be enabled and present; the disclosed token can authorize crafted mfunc tags that execute PHP code.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
