OS command injection in systeminformation before 5.31.7 allows attackers to execute commands through a crafted Linux source path. The checkLinuxDCHPInterfaces() function parses a source token from interfaces(5) content and inserts it unquoted into an execSync() shell command. Exploitation requires control of a reachable source path; commands run with the privileges of a process that calls networkInterfaces(), getStaticData(), or getAllData().
