Outbound request manipulation via unsanitized multipart headers
Published Jun 22, 2026 · Updated Jun 22, 2026
CRLF injection in aiohttp before 3.14.0 allows remote attackers to alter outbound multipart requests through crafted header data. Payload._binary_headers concatenates header names and values into serialized part headers without rejecting carriage returns, line feeds, or NUL bytes. Exploitation requires an application to pass attacker-controlled strings to MultipartWriter.append(headers=...) or Payload.headers, enabling injected headers or altered request content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
