Memory exhaustion in OFFIS DCMTK 3.7.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to stop storescp via crafted DICOM association requests. On an Extended Negotiation parse error, parseAssociate destroys the list container without deleting its allocated negotiation items. Repeated unauthenticated connections grow memory in default single-process mode until storescp is killed and remains unavailable pending restart.
