Browser script execution via unsanitized log search
Published Jun 5, 2026 · Updated Jun 5, 2026
Reflected XSS in Lyrion Music Server 9.2.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser through a crafted URL. The server.log endpoint returns the search parameter in HTML without sanitizing it, so injected HTML and JavaScript execute in the application origin. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious URL; the resulting script can read or alter browser-accessible application data under that user's session.
