Device-data exposure via public IPv6 management binding
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Information exposure in Acer Connect M6E firmware through M6E_AI_1.00.000019 allows remote authenticated users to read device data. The web administration panel listens on the public IPv6 wildcard address at port 8080 without default firewall filtering, exposing internal API endpoints to WAN requests. Administrative privileges are required for the reported confidentiality impact; no integrity change or service interruption is reported.
