Unauthenticated endpoint disconnection via unchecked device dissociation
Published Jun 4, 2026 · Updated Jun 4, 2026
Improper validation in Acer Connect M6E firmware M6E_AI_1.00.000019 and earlier allows remote attackers to unbind unrelated user endpoints. The device dissociation API processes an unbinding operation without verifying that the requester owns the targeted endpoint. No privileges or user interaction are required, but the attacker must be on an adjacent network; successful requests disconnect other users and interrupt their service.
