Incorrect permission assignment in Acer Connect M6E firmware through M6E_AI_1.00.000019 allows local users to seize MDM control. The MDM registration broadcast receiver accepts events from untrusted local software and writes an attacker-supplied server address as the default management endpoint. Low-privileged code on the router is required; successful exploitation redirects administrative ownership and grants the external MDM server control of the device.
