Authenticated file read and deletion via path traversal
Published Aug 18, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Path traversal in 4ga Boards before 3.3.8 allows remote authenticated users to read and delete server files through board exports. The board export handler passes the decoded filename from GET /exports/:id/:filename to path.join() without verifying that the result stays beneath the user's export directory. Project Manager access is required; the selected file is returned and then deleted by the close handler, thereby exposing secrets or interrupting the service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
