Service interruption via unbounded fraction-digit padding
Published Jun 22, 2026 · Updated Jun 22, 2026
Resource exhaustion in Google Angular @angular/common allows remote attackers to crash SSR servers or freeze browser tabs. formatNumber accepts unbounded fraction-digit values from digitsInfo, and roundNumber repeatedly pads its digit array until memory or the main thread is exhausted. Exploitation requires an application to pass attacker-controlled digitsInfo to formatNumber, DecimalPipe, PercentPipe, or CurrencyPipe.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
