CVE-2026-50169

Session data disclosure via dropped redirect policy

Published Jun 22, 2026 · Updated Jun 22, 2026

Request-policy bypass in Google Angular's service worker allows attackers to read same-origin session-restricted data through redirects. An internal request-reconstruction helper creates a replacement Request without preserving redirect: 'error', causing the browser to follow HTTP redirects. Exploitation requires an active service worker, a matched public route redirecting to a protected same-origin route, a strict client fetch, and an authenticated user session.
