CVE-2026-50152Hinoki check available

Cluster-secret disclosure via unauthorized subscription read

Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026

Improper authorization in Ceph Monitor 19.x before 19.2.6 and 20.x before 20.2.4 allows remote authenticated users to read the config-key store. The Monitor subscription handler serves the entire store for one crafted MMonSubscribe request without checking authorization beyond mon allow r. Cluster access and a CephX identity with that capability are required; exposed LUKS keys reveal encrypted data, while the default cephadm SSH key grants root on managed hosts.
