Script execution via unescaped log filename
Published Mar 28, 2026 · Updated Mar 28, 2026
Reflected XSS in the /logs endpoint in elecV2 elecV2P 3.8.0 through 3.8.3 allows remote attackers to execute script in a visitor's browser. The webser/wblogs.js handler writes log filenames from LOGS_LIST_CACHE into HTML list elements with res.write without context-appropriate escaping. No authentication is required, but a victim must open the crafted response before attacker-supplied JavaScript runs in the product's origin.
