CVE-2026-50147Network attack vector

Arbitrary file read via unsafe JDBC parameters

Published Jul 15, 2026 · Updated Jul 15, 2026

Argument injection in Metabase allows remote authenticated users to read server files through crafted MySQL or MariaDB connection settings. Metabase passes attacker-supplied JDBC properties to the database driver, which treats unsafe parameters as instructions to load local files and returns their contents through queries or validation errors. Exploitation requires a Metabase administrator account and a reachable MySQL or MariaDB server controlled by the attacker.
