CVE-2026-5014Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated arbitrary file read via path traversal

Published Mar 28, 2026 · Updated Mar 28, 2026

Path traversal in elecV2 elecV2P 3.8.0 through 3.8.3 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files via crafted /log/ requests. The unauthenticated wildcard handler passes the decoded filename to path.join with the configured log directory and streams any existing resulting file. Network access to the web service is sufficient; disclosure is limited to files readable by the elecV2P process.
