Unauthenticated command execution via pm2run concatenation
Published Mar 28, 2026 · Updated Mar 28, 2026
OS command injection in elecV2 elecV2P 3.8.0 through 3.8.3 allows remote attackers to execute commands through /rpc. The unauthenticated pm2run handler concatenates params[0] into a pm2 start command that func/exec.js passes to child_process.exec without neutralization. Any host exposing the web service permits command execution under the elecV2P process account, with command output returned in the HTTP response.
