Cross-account device control via missing ownership check
Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026
Missing authorization in Aqara Cloud Production API 2026-04-20 allows remote authenticated users to read and control devices in arbitrary accounts. The /v3.0/open/api endpoint validates an MD5-signed developer Appid but does not verify that the targeted account belongs to that developer. A valid developer token is required for this flaw alone, exposing a cross-account read/write device-control surface; a separate vulnerability chain removes that gate.
