Unauthorized developer accounts via approval-free signup
Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026
Missing authentication in Aqara Cloud Developer Portal 2026-04-20 allows remote attackers to create unauthorized developer accounts. The POST /open-server/authcode/get endpoint accepts any attacker-supplied email address, sends its verification code there, and completes signup without an approval workflow. The resulting account receives a valid Appid and Keyid; by itself, the flaw grants developer-program access, while device takeover requires three additional vulnerabilities.
