Code execution via DFT parser use-after-free
Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026
Use-after-free in Siemens Solid Edge SE2025 and SE2026 allows attackers to execute code when a specially crafted DFT file is opened. The DFT parser accesses an object after its lifetime has ended while processing attacker-controlled drawing data; Siemens has not disclosed the responsible function or object. A local user must open the file, and resulting code runs with the privileges of the current process before V225.0 Update 15 or V226.0 Update 7.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
