Privilege escalation via slash-injected templated policy paths

Authorization bypass in HashiCorp Vault and Vault Enterprise allows remote authenticated users to access unintended paths through a templated policy. Policy rendering treats slash characters in an attacker-controlled identity value as path separators instead of constraining the value to one path segment. Exploitation requires control of an identity value referenced by an applicable template and grants only the capabilities assigned to the resulting path.
