Project path replacement via unchecked dependency aliases

Path traversal in pnpm before 10.34.0 and 11.0.0 through 11.3.0 allows remote attackers to replace project paths during install. Registry metadata aliases containing traversal segments are normalized into link destinations without containment validation, allowing symlinks outside node_modules. A user or CI job must install the malicious package; a later normal command can execute attacker-controlled files, while regular-file targets cause interruption.
