Heap-based buffer overflow in Squid before 7.6 allows remote attackers controlling a trusted peer to corrupt memory via a cache-digest reply. peerDigestSwapInMask in src/peer_digest.cc copies each received chunk with memcpy without first ensuring mask_offset plus size fits the declared mask_size. Reachability requires cache-digest compilation and an enabled cache_peer digest configuration; no specific crash or code-execution outcome is disclosed.
