Cross-site scripting in Cure53 DOMPurify before 3.4.7 allows remote attackers to execute scripts through sanitized template content. IN_PLACE traversal skips an attached shadow root beneath an element in template.content, preserving event handlers, JavaScript URLs, or scripts. Exploitation requires attacker-controlled markup with that structure and an application that clones and inserts the sanitized template.
