OS command injection in Nathan Esquenazi Hermes WebUI before 0.51.311 allows remote authenticated users to execute host commands. api/workspace_git.py invokes Git without overriding executable repository configuration or scrubbing command-bearing Git environment variables. An authenticated user able to place a malicious .git/config in a workspace can trigger commands through status or fetch operations with the WebUI server's privileges.
