Authenticated session-data disclosure via unscoped search
Published Jun 9, 2026 · Updated Jun 9, 2026
Missing authorization in Hermes WebUI before 0.51.269 allows remote authenticated users to read other profiles' session data. The _handle_sessions_search handler passes all_sessions() directly into title and transcript-content searches without filtering rows through _profiles_match() for the active profile. Any authenticated profile can retrieve other profiles' session titles and transcript messages; no write or service-interruption impact is reported.
