Administrator RCE via unsanitized plugin path inclusion
Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026
Local file inclusion in Discuz! X5.0 20260320 through 20260610 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code as the web server user. The plugin installer stores a traversal-bearing directory value before updatecache() sanitizes it, and a forced database exception skips that check before enable_disable.php passes the stored path to include(). Administrator access and an uploaded file containing PHP code are required, after which the included file runs with the forum service's privileges.
