Authentication bypass via cross-context token reuse
Published Jun 15, 2026 · Updated Jun 15, 2026
Authentication bypass in Discuz! X 5.0 releases 20260320 through 20260501 allows remote attackers to export or import the database. In standalone mode, config_ucenter.php copies authkey into UC_KEY, so logging_ctl::logging_more() signs an attacker-controlled username for acceptance by api/db/dbbak.php. No credentials or user interaction are required; database export exposes user data and password hashes, while a timed import enables arbitrary-user impersonation.
