Authenticated traffic hijacking via unchecked configuration write

Missing authorization in Mem0 0.2.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to redirect global LLM and embedder traffic. The POST /configure handler accepts JWTs or X-API-Key credentials through verify_auth, then persists caller-supplied provider URLs without checking the user's role. A distributed API key is sufficient to route every user's prompts, memories, and embeddings to an attacker-controlled server across restarts.
