Authenticated privilege escalation via unrestricted admin paths
Published Jun 30, 2026 · Updated Jun 30, 2026
Improper authorization in Apache ActiveMQ before 5.19.8 and 6.0.0 through 6.2.6 allows remote authenticated users to access admin paths. The default Jetty security constraints authenticate Web Console users but do not restrict /admin/* to the admins role. Any low-privilege Web Console account can therefore reach administrative functions, enabling unauthorized reads and changes through the broker management interface.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
