CVE-2026-49872Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Cross-source route access via unscoped CAS sessions

Published Jun 19, 2026 · Updated Jun 19, 2026

Improper authentication in Apache APISIX 3.0.0 through 3.16.0 allows remote authenticated users to access routes through another CAS source. The cas-auth plugin reuses a fixed CAS_SESSION cookie and shared session entry across routes without binding either value to the route's identity provider and callback. Exploitation requires a valid CAS session from one configured source and another cas-auth route on the same host, granting that session access across the trust boundary.
