CVE-2026-49821Network attack vector

Cross-tenant secret disclosure via unchecked namespace reference

Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026

Missing authorization in Fission before 1.24.0 allows remote authenticated users to read cross-tenant Kubernetes secrets via Package CRDs. Buildermgr accepts a Package whose environment namespace differs from its metadata namespace, then uses its privileged service account to fetch that Environment and run the build in the victim builder pod. Package-create permission in one namespace is sufficient to expose the victim builder token through buildlog and read its Secrets and ConfigMaps.
