Cross-world chat disclosure via unscoped report lookup
Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026
Improper input validation in Venueless before 2026.3.27.e20083a allows remote authenticated users to read other worlds' chat messages. The generate_chat_history reporting task resolves an attacker-supplied channel UUID by primary key without constraining the query to the current world. Exploitation requires update world permission in any world and knowledge of the target channel UUID; the consequence is chat-message disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
